Ethics and Compliance Consultant

Service Description

1. Policy and Procedure Implementation: - Collaborate with the CEO to ensure the implementation of policies, procedures, and programs within the organization. 2. Ethics & Compliance Program Oversight: - Monitor all aspects of the corporate Ethics & Compliance program, including any modifications or additions to the program. 3. Issue Resolution: - Work actively with the Administrative Team and Department Directors to identify and resolve Ethics and Compliance issues. - Conduct investigations into identified issues as needed. 4. Code of Conduct Training: - Ensure Code of Conduct orientation training for new employees, contractors, and volunteers in association with physician or practice. - Maintain records of training completion. 5. Annual Refresher Training: - Coordinate and oversee annual refresher Code of Conduct training. - Maintain records of refresher training completion. 6. Departmental Education: - Collaborate with Department Directors to ensure completion of required tasks for various departments, such as coders, billers, rehab, laboratory staff, and others as needed in association with physical and practice providers. 7. Audit Responsibilities: - Conduct audits on physician contracts, HR personnel files, and Emergency Room (ER) transfers to ensure compliance with regulations pertaining to physician and providers. 8. Collaboration with Department Directors: - Work with Department Directors to address compliance-related education needs and resolve any identified issues with practice team. This role involves a comprehensive approach to overseeing and ensuring the ethical and compliant functioning of the organization. It includes collaboration with leadership, conducting audits, managing training programs, and actively resolving and investigating Ethics and Compliance issues.
